This plan includes many services, such as: A social safety net and insurance to supplement income in the event of illness; medical expenses; a variety of goods and services that can be purchased to personalise the welfare offer; family support in the broadest sense, with projects for parenting, education, and care of the elderly. There are also activities aimed at developing a sense of belonging and connectedness, an understanding of one’s role and contribution to the organisation.
In addition, our Employee Assistance Programme offers personalised mental health care, and our annual calendar of wellbeing workshops is complemented by a collection of on-demand resources and a network of Wellbeing Champions. Wellbeing Champions play a critical role in normalising conversations about wellbeing and self-care, and in creating a work environment that supports sustainable performance. We also provide employees with on-site meal vouchers, free fruit, and subsidised massages.

Our Smart Work policy allows employees to choose a combination of remote and in-office work. This gives employees greater flexibility about when and where they work, based on their individual needs and preferences, the feasibility of specific job requirements, and local regulations.

We are creating an environment that supports the wellbeing of employees so they can fulfil themselves in both their working and personal lives and achieve sustained high performance. To achieve this, we offer our employees generous paid holiday entitlement. All our employees enjoy 23 days of paid annual leave, 5 days of unpaid leave and a summer schedule in July and August when the working day runs from 8am to 3pm.

We have a range of people-focused policies in place to support our employees and their families. These range from our global policies on parental leave and volunteering, to additional time off for life milestones such as marriage. They are based on the recognition that our employees want to have a rewarding career and family life.
In addition to the annual leave and summer working hours, Philip Morris Spain employees also benefit from:
- A minimum of 16 weeks maternity/paternity leave
- 15 days of prenatal leave
