Fostering a culture of inclusion is essential to achieving our vision of a smoke-free future. We need a better balance of men and women, their talents and skills, because organisations with diverse teams and an established inclusive culture are more innovative and successful.
EQUAL-SALARY CERTIFICATION
PMI has been re-certified as a global equal-salary organisation for the second time since 2019 by the independent Equal-Salary Foundation. The certification validates the company’s continued strong commitment to equal pay for work of equal value among its staff in the more than 90 countries where it operates.
The certification includes a quantitative analysis of our compensation data and a qualitative review of our management’s commitment to gender equality in the workplace and adherence to talent management and development policies and practices, as well as employee perceptions of gender equality.Today, women represent 43 percent of Philip Morris International’s workforce and 42 percent of management positions, meeting the global target. For its part, the Spanish subsidiary has also achieved 40 percent female representation in management positions, having successfully passed the audit conducted by the Foundation.
